Surroundings
The Goldgrube is a centrally located district of Koblenz. You can reach the centre of Koblenz or the main railway station on foot in about 15 minutes, the old town or the Rhine promenade in about 20 minutes. Shopping facilities in a very well-stocked supermarket and a bakery can be found around the corner, less than 400m away. There is also an indoor swimming pool.
Excursions
You can quickly reach the surrounding area of Koblenz via the B9 and the motorways. Your location is therefore an ideal starting point for excursions to the neighbouring low mountain ranges: Westerwald, Taunus, Hunsrück and Eifel, as well as the Rhine, Moselle and Lahn valleys with numerous castles and palaces.
Here in our beautiful region you will find something to suit every taste: Hiking tours through the dreamlike mixed forests, cycling along the Rhine or the Moselle, wine tastings, the butterfly garden in Sayn Castle, feeding deer and pony rides at the Remstecken forester’s lodge, the go-kart track in Lützel or even the Nürburgring car racing circuit… just to give a few examples.
