Old Town
Through a small neighbouring alley you can reach the Rhine meadows. You can reach the old town of Koblenz in a few minutes, whether after a nice walk or by bike along the Rhine and then by a small ferry across the Moselle or, if you did not arrive by car, by bus. You will find a bus stop in the immediate vicinity.
Stroll through the old town with its pretty half-timbered houses and take advantage of the cable car from Deutsches Eck to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, which was built especially for the BUGA and from which you can enjoy a wonderful view over Koblenz and where numerous events and exhibitions also take place.
Excursions
You can quickly reach the surrounding area of Koblenz via the B9 and the motorways. Your location is therefore an ideal starting point for excursions to the neighbouring low mountain ranges: Westerwald, Taunus, Hunsrück and Eifel, as well as the Rhine, Moselle and Lahn valleys with numerous castles and palaces.
Here in our beautiful region you will find something to suit every taste: Hiking tours through the dreamlike mixed forests, cycling along the Rhine or the Moselle, wine tastings, the butterfly garden in Sayn Castle, feeding deer and pony rides at the Remstecken forester’s lodge, the go-kart track in Lützel or even the Nürburgring car racing circuit… just to give a few examples.
