Location
Our “Ferienhaus Uni-Koblenz” is particularly conveniently located for visitors to the University of Koblenz-Landau, only about 400 metres from our house. The Bundeswehr Hospital is also within walking distance of the holiday home.
Next to the university, directly on the Moselle, is a small highlight: the “Koblenz City Beach”. There is a fine, white sandy beach with deckchairs, lounge sofas and palm trees. The city beach operators offer small meals, beer, wine, soft drinks and delicious cocktails at self-service stands.
In the vicinity of our house there are various shops for all daily necessities and several restaurants.
Excursions
The old town of Koblenz is only a few minutes away by car. You can also quickly reach the surrounding area of Koblenz by car via the B9 and the motorways. Your location is therefore an ideal starting point for numerous excursions, such as to the butterfly garden in Sayn Castle, to feed deer and ride ponies at the Remstecken forester’s lodge, to the go-kart track in Lützel or to the Nürburgring car racing circuit.
Guests who prefer to leave their car at the holiday home, or who have travelled to Koblenz by train, can also easily get to the city centre by bus, which departs at regular intervals, just 50 metres from the house, to explore Koblenz’s old town.
For them, cycling tours along the Moselle are ideal, passing through numerous charming old wine villages. But hiking tours through the dreamlike mixed forests around Koblenz are also very inspiring.
